4. Quotations and Pricing
All quotations provided by HakunaSolar are:
- Valid for 30 days from the date of issue
- Subject to site inspection and technical feasibility
- Inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated
- Based on current market prices and may change
- Conditional upon final engineering assessment
5. Payment Terms
Installation Projects
- 50% deposit required upon contract signing
- 30% payment upon delivery of equipment
- 20% final payment upon project completion
- Payment methods: Bank transfer, cash, mobile money
Product Purchases
- Full payment required before product delivery
- Wholesale orders: 50% deposit, balance on delivery
- All payments in Nigerian Naira unless agreed otherwise
6. Installation and Delivery
HakunaSolar commits to:
- Complete installations within agreed timeframes
- Provide professional workmanship and quality materials
- Ensure all installations comply with local regulations
- Deliver products in good condition and on schedule
- Provide system commissioning and user training
Delays may occur due to weather conditions, permit approvals, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. We will communicate any delays promptly.
7. Warranties and Guarantees
Product Warranties
- Solar panels: 25-year performance warranty
- Inverters: 5-10 year manufacturer warranty
- Batteries: 2-10 year warranty depending on type
- Mounting systems: 10-year structural warranty
Installation Warranty
- 2-year comprehensive installation warranty
- Free maintenance visits during warranty period
- Performance monitoring and troubleshooting
- Replacement of defective components
8. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate property and energy consumption information
- Ensuring site accessibility for installation teams
- Obtaining necessary permits and approvals where required
- Making timely payments as per agreed terms
- Providing safe working conditions for our technicians
- Reporting system issues promptly
- Following operating and maintenance guidelines
9. Cancellation and Refunds
Project Cancellations
- Cancellations before equipment procurement: 10% administration fee
- Cancellations after equipment delivery: 25% restocking fee
- Cancellations after installation begins: No refund available
- Force majeure cancellations will be handled case-by-case
Product Returns
- Unopened products: 7-day return policy
- Defective products: Full refund or replacement
- Custom-ordered items: Non-returnable
- Return shipping costs borne by customer unless defective
10. Limitation of Liability
HakunaSolar's liability is limited to:
- The contract value of the specific project or product
- Direct damages only, excluding consequential losses
- Warranty coverage as explicitly stated in agreements
- Replacement or repair of defective products/services
We are not liable for damages due to force majeure, customer negligence, unauthorized modifications, or normal wear and tear.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including designs, system specifications, and documentation, is the intellectual property of HakunaSolar. Customers may not:
- Reproduce or distribute our proprietary designs
- Use our brand name or logo without permission
- Share technical specifications with competitors
- Reverse engineer our system designs
12. Privacy and Data Protection
Customer information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We may use customer data for:
- Service delivery and project management

13. Dispute Resolution
